Overview

The Division has the responsibility of providing the required infrastructure and services to the entire Secretariat in support of its programmes. To carry out this responsibility effectively, the Support Services Division operates through three Departments namely, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources and Administration and the Public Relations and Information.

The Information Technology Department is responsible for providing the Secretariat with secure and reliable IT services. It continuously explores and keeps abreast of new technological developments, to provide the OPEC Secretariat with the most effective and up-to-date IT infrastructure. It consists of two sections IT Applications section and IT Services Section. The Finance, Human Resources and Administration Department focuses on delivering innovative human resources and financial strategies as well as ensuring the smooth functioning of the OPEC Secretariat. It consists of three units, Finance, Human resources and Administration. The Public Relations and Information Department aims to improve and enrich the image of the Organization. It consists of four units, the Editorial, Design and Production, the Public Relations, and Information Center.
