While the new Ministers and their respective teams
will continue the work of their predecessors, joining
other Member Countries in the hard work ahead, they
continue to display optimism for the future. During his
address to all delegates, the Conference President said,
OPEC “has a fundamental interest in the health of the
global economy and the worldwide energy industry.” It
must necessarily be so in order for appropriate levels of
