OPEC Monthly Oil Market Report – June 2016
World oil supply
Preliminary data indicates that the global oil supply decreased by 0.73 mb/d in May
compared with the previous month, to average 94.51 mb/d. Non-OPEC supply
decreased by 0.63 mb/d, while OPEC production decreased by 0.10 mb/d. The share
of OPEC crude oil in total global production increased to 34.2% in May compared with
the previous month. Estimates are based on preliminary data from direct
communications for non-OPEC supply, OPEC NGLs and non-conventional oil, while
estimates for OPEC crude production are based on secondary sources.
