Public Relations Specialist

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has a vacancy based in Vienna, Austria, for Public Relations Specialist in the Public Relations & Information Department.
Main Responsibilities
• Assists PR Coordinator and Senior PR Specialist in executing approved strategies, policies and programs.
• Keeps the lists for different publications and administers the distribution.
• Recommends and administers corporate products.
• Assess requests for OPEC’s participations at missions and exhibitions.
• Attends and manages OPEC stands at exhibitions.
• Showcases and promotes OPEC’s corporate items and publications at missions.
• Monitors media coverage of OPEC’s major events, activities, and participation at missions.
• Handles administrative process of accreditation of the press for Meetings & Conferences.
• Updates regularly the OPEC’s website with approved content.
• Carries out any other tasks assigned by the relevant superiors as pertain to his/her background, qualifications and position.
Requirements and Work Experience
• University degree in public relations, journalism, media relations or related fields
• 4 years of work experience
Training Specialization
• Membership of professional PR body
• MS Office

Offer
Monthly basic salary of (€5,135 x 12 per year), with tax-free benefits and six-week annual leave.
