Resolutions of the 132nd Meeting of the OPEC Conference
No 17/2004 Vienna, Austria October 15, 2004 The 132nd Meeting of the Conference of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, held in Vienna, Austria, on September 15, 2004, adopted the following Resolutions, which, in accordance with customary procedures, have been ratified by the Member Countries and are issued herewith: Resolution No 132.411 The Conference, having regard to the rules laid down in the Statute of the Organization, in particular Article 21; whereas in accordance with the provisions of Resolution 128.405, the term of office of the Governor for Venezuela as Chairman of the Board of Governors expires on December 31, 2004; appoints Mr Hamid Dahmani, the Governor for Algeria, as Chairman of the Board of Governors for a period of one year from January 1, 2005; and appoints Dr Maizar Rahman, Governor for Indonesia, as Alternate Chairman for the same period. Resolution No 132.412 The Conference, upon the recommendation of the Board of Governors, approves the appointment of KPMG Alpen-Treuhand GmbH to act as auditors for the financial year 2004 and to submit a report thereon. Resolution No 132.413 The Conference resolves that the next Ordinary Meeting of the Conference shall be convened in Mahmoud Abad, Islamic Republic of Iran, on March 16, 2005.
