Explanatory Notes
	Downstream expansion plans are based on published projects available to OPEC Secretariat as at end of March 2006.
	Projects include those in early planning as well as under development stages, with the assumption of their implementation as announced.
	Capacity plans reflect the name-plate capacity per calendar-day.
	Planned capacity level is as at end of each year. Investment requirements are estimates based on available published information for each refining process.
