Dr. Hasan M. Qabazard, Director, Research Division

Is responsible for a continuous programme of research, designed to meet the requirements of the Organization and its Member Countries, with particular emphasis on energy and related matters.

It monitors, forecasts and analyzes developments in the energy and petrochemical industries and studies the evaluation of hydrocarbons and products and their non-energy uses; analyzes economic and financial issues, in particular those related to the international oil industry.

It is headed by a Director of Research, and consists of three departments, namely, Energy Studies, Petroleum Market Analysis and Data Services.
