The Department is responsible for the identification, collection and processing of energy related information in support of the research activities of the OPEC Secretariat and its Member Countries. It keeps abreast of latest software and database systems for the efficient operations of the Secretariat. The Head of Department is Mr. Fuad Al-Zayer.
